JOB PURPOSE
- To maximize sales, through effective selling and service skills and thorough product knowledge.
- To assist with other store operations responsibilities. (Merchandise display and stock keeping, general maintenance of store and cash register operations)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated success interacting with customers in a service industry. (Apparel industry desired).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Full-time Associates work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the ability toincrease hours based on business needs.
- Part-time Associates work a minimum schedule of 15 hours per week, with the ability to increase hours based on business needs.
- Scheduling flexibility to include days, nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet the needs of the business.
JOBDESCRIPTION:
- FINANCIAL Achieve personal productivity goals and assist in meeting store sales goal.
- LEADERSHIP Develop customer relationships that generate sales, and repeat visits. (e.g. client books, PLCC) Respect and value opinions and recognize differences in team members to foster a positive work environment.
- Communicate to inspire and motivate customers to buy Brooks Brothers product.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Demonstrate legendary customer service and customer satisfaction practices to maximize sales and prevent shrink.
- Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales and profits.
- Communicate merchandise needs and trends, for the store, to Store Management.
TECHNICAL
- Assist with networking and providing referrals to build a diverse staff to achieve and maintain a fully staffed objective.
- Demonstrate, and comply with Company best practices, policies, procedures and Associate policies as outlined in the Associate Handbook.
- Assist Store Management with processing shipments and merchandise presentation to maximize sales.
- Provide and maintain a safe, healthy and injury free environment for the general public and co-workers.
- Assist Store Management in training fellow Sales Associates to maximize sales.
- Process customer's purchases to ensure legendary service and accurate record keeping.
- Participate in all inventory preparation.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

- Solicit input from others, accept and use feedback to improve performance.
- Demonstrate uncompromising integrity and/or ethical behavior.
